Art Bell, one of talk radio’s most prolific hosts made his return to free radio broadcasts on July 20, 2015.
Art Bell has been a staple of late night talk radio since the 1990’s, when he first launched The Art Bell Show Coast To Coast AM from his home studio in Pahrump, NV. Bell had an extremely loyal fan base that tuned-in each night to hear the latest on UFO sightings, government conspiricies, paranormal events and the mysterious goings-on at the once super-classified U.S. air base Area 51. At one time, Bell had hundreds of affiliate AM and FM radio stations broadcasting his show throughout North America.
After several years of growing a significant audience, Bell left the airwaves rather abruptly. At first, it was speculated that there may have been some government cover up involved, but in the end his reasons for leaving turned out to be a bit more personal and down to earth. His show Coast To Coast AM was eventually handed over to its current host Michael Noory. Coast To Coast still airs nightly on a variety of stations.
After a brief attempt at resurrecting his show on the Sirius XM satellite radio network, Bell announced that he would be leaving the network when his contract expired, which should be in July, 2015.
Art Bell will be airing on shortwave broadcaster WTWW starting July 20, 2015. He will be on Transmitter #2 5085 KHz 9pm – Midnight Pacific. In addition, several radio stations in the United States and Canada have also agreed to carry his nightly talk radio show from 9 p.m. – 12 a.m. PST each weeknight. The show will also be available using the Tune-In app for mobile devices as well as a new stream that has not yet been announced. We will publish direct links to the new show as soon as they are made available. Check back here or on our news page to keep up with the latest news. Stay tuned!
